Here are a few simple tips to make your computer run faster (XP Users Only) -
Click Start, Control Panel, System, Adavanced Tab then clcik the performance settings button.
From here Select Adjust for best performance on the Visual effects tab - this will decrease your hardware acceleration.
Click Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programes. When here you should move any unnecessary programmes that you rarely use.
Click Start, All Programmes, Startup , then remove all programmes in this list, as your computer will have less programmes to open on startup which will also speed it up.
Or you can buy a RAM upgrade, which will speed up the computers RAM, allowing you to open and close programmes much faster.
And finnaly a simple tip is too not over estimate your PC and too keep the amount of running programmes down to minimum e.g dont leave your media player open whilst in the middle of watching a movie.
