Sri Lanka United National Association Canada, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (Committee in Canada), Tamil Democratic cultural Association Canada, Patriotic National Movement (Canada Branch) and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (Canada Branch) have organized a joint protest in Toronto today (June 21) to condemn LTTE atrocities in Sri Lanka and urge Western countries to support Sri Lanka's democratically-elected government to defeat LTTE terrorism.
All Sri Lankan-born patriotic Canadian citizens have been requested to participate in this demonstration organized in the interest of both Sri Lanka and Canada which in recent weeks has launched a major crackdown on the World Tamil Movement and other LTTE fronts operating in that country.
