IE 7 / IE 8: Disable Sounds in Web Pages

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click Tools and select Internet Options.

3. Select the Advanced tab.

4. Scroll down to the Multimedia section.

5. Uncheck the Play sounds in webpages checkbox.

6. Click the OK button.

To re-enable this feature, simply go back and re-check the checkbox.

IE7: Clear History, Cookies, and Temporary Internet Files

1. Click Tools menu in IE7

2. Click Delete Browsing History...

3. Select which private information you wish to clear.

4. Click the Close button when you are done.
